Berlin- based Nigerian Lecturer, Bisi Alimi has appealed to British MPs in London to speak to Buhari as well as other officials to abolish the law that makes befriending a gay person a crime punishable by 10 years in jail.
Alimi said this while speaking to the Associated Press on Thursday, 22 October, 2015.
He added that the plights of gays in his homeland combined with his sexual orientation has had him tortured, persecuted, lost his job, lost his home and even his country.
Bisi Alimi who is currently on exile is a Nigerian Gay activist, public speaker, blog writer and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian gay man to come on television.
