I want to thank the OPAL and fellow community members; if it were not for OPAL, I would not have been here, I would not be out and proud, and my confidence would have been shallow. OPAL has built trust in me, and I can be the person I only dreamed of. I am living my life openly because I know there are people I call now friends or family. I also want to thank OPAL for allowing me to showcase my dance talent – my hidden talent. In Uganda I, my freedoms and liberties were suffocated, and I could not express myself the way I wanted.
